SLIM AND SASSYYYYYY

I started doing Slim and Sassy about 4 weeks ago, I have always been really good at the SASSY part... just the slim I want some help with!! :)
So far, I really like it.
I have not gotten on the scale ( I avoid that when ever possible) but I will.
I have noticed that I definantly have more energy throughout my day.
It has also helped me kick my diet coke habit... I only had 2 a day but I know that even though it has no calories, it is full of chemicals and artificial ingredients and really not good for me...but, man I love the fizz :)
I have only had 2 particial diet cokes in the last month, and I don't really miss it.

I am training to do RAGNAR and the difference this year compared to last year is HUGE...I really feel that the reason I have more energy is due to slim and sassy, I am actually running faster, which says alot because I am slow!
Overall I think slim and sassy is a win, win.  I haven't noticed losing any weight but I am hopeful that in the next few weeks I can feel a difference and THEN I will weigh myself again.
On a side note,  Last night when I was watching one of the webinar's, a lady had called in and said she lost 12 LBS in one weeks on slim and sassy..... that was without excersise!
YOU GO GIRL!

Don't forget the On Guard Throat Drops & On Guard Handwash!!
My Sister and I hosted a event earlier this month,  One of the giveaways we did was a bottle of On Guard,  My friend that won it almost didn't come to the party because her youngest was home with what she assumed was strep throat.
When she got home her daughter was also complaining of a sore throat,  She started using the On Guard on them and just two days later all symtomps were gone!!
How great is that, what a blessing to be able to treat your family with these all natural oils and see results so quickly.
Another benefit is the cost,  She would have had to take them into a instacare. ( I think kids always get sick on the weekends!)    she would have had to pay for the visit, deductible and perscription for 2 kido's.
I would love to hear your expiereince with On Guard.

Vetiver ~peaceful child

I had two friends come to mind when I read this article.
One of my friends has two children with autism,  I am hoping she has great sucess with her sweet boys.
I wanted to share this and would
love to hear your expierence's with Veviter.

I copied this post from the blog

This last week I heard a couple of really great testimonials about vetiver that I wanted to share. I have a grandmother who went to Michaels and got a little clay necklace piece and put it on a necklace. She added the vetiver to the granddaughter's clay necklace each morning and didn't say anything about it. A few weeks later she went to her granddaughters class and the teacher asked what she had been doing because her granddaughter was doing so great in class!

The 2nd involved a 13year old boy with ADD issues. Each morning the mom would put the vetiver on her son. About three or four days later he says to his mom, "I don't like that stuff it makes me pay attention." Isn't that great!
A few months ago I found this and wanted to share it with this post. Powerful stuff for parents and grandparents who have children with special needs. Enjoy!

A wonderful share from Share doTERRA.com

Peaceful Child Blend by Deborah G.

"Peaceful Child has helped quite a few other people and I do think that this kind of blend needs to be available to everyone, especially to children with special needs and their maxxed-out parents. There are so many children out there suffering with all kinds of mental disabilities and disorders, such as ADHD, Aspburgers, Tourettes, and Autism (they are all related) and most of the medications for these disorders don't really work and have lots of side effects. The parents of these children also suffer. It is really tough to raise these kinds of children and Peaceful Child helps both the parent and child to cope better.

Peaceful Child
85 drops (1/3 bottle) Vetiver
30 Ylang Ylang
20 Frankincense
15-17 Clary Sage
10 Marjoram

35 fractionated coconut oil (I added the coconut oil for convenience for parents who need to get this on their children or themselves quickly during a tough moment)

Scent: Warm, deep, rich, soothing, stabilizing, comforting, languid

The oils in this blend are known for helping with:
Hyperactivity, ADHD, emotional trauma, fear, stress, anxiety, behavioral & cognitive disorders; neurological disorders. Calming, soothing, and stabilizing the central nervous system. Creates a deep, languid calm; has sedative properties; frees the nerves from excessive tension allowing a person to spiritually center themselves. Nourishes and protects the brain and nervous system. Restores feelings of hope and mental strength and promotes a positive outlook on life. Eases the pain behind anger and quiets mind chatter."

Shampoo and Conditioner

Today I tried the SanoBella shampoo and conditioner line by doTERRA.  I am really picky when it comes to my hair care product, I was a little skeptical but I really like it!!!  I tried the lavendar and peppermint,  the peppermint gives your head a little tingle....felt really good!!

Peppermint

I found a doTERRA blog that I love.  It is http://www.ourdoterraoilexperience.blogspot.com/.  I really like the peppermint by doTERRA and she has listed 25 fun ways to use it!   I am going to try the workout trick tonight on my way to the gym!
The peppermint oil is one of my favorites because it can be used in so many ways! Check these out!

25 Ways to Use Peppermint Essential Oil
1. Rub 4-6 drops peppermint oil in the palm and rub over stomach and around the navel to relieve indigestion, flatulence and diarrhea.

2. Add a drop of peppermint oil to hot water to create a peppermint tea to aid in digestion and relieve heartburn.

3. Massage several drops of peppermint oil on sore muscles to reduce inflammation.
Apply peppermint oil immediately to an injured area (bruised shin, hit on the foot or hand) to relieve pain. If there is a cut, apply the peppermint oil around (not on) the open wound.

4. Apply a drop of peppermint oil topically, on unbroken skin, to stop itching.

5. For poison ivy or poison oak, apply peppermint oil on location.

5. Inhale peppermint oil before and during a workout to boost your mood and reduce fatigue. Peppermint oil rubbed under the nose also increases oxygen to the brain.

6. To relieve a headache, rub a drop of peppermint oil on the temples, forehead, over the sinuses (being very careful to avoid the eyes) and on the back of the neck.

7. To stop hiccups, apply a drop of peppermint oil on each side of the fifth cervical vertebra (up three notches from the large vertebra at the base of the neck). For hiccups my son will just inhale the peppermint oil.

8. Place two drops of peppermint oil on the tongue and rub another drop under the nose to improve alertness and concentration. (Note: be careful not to swallow right away; allow the oil to completely dissolve on the tongue before swallowing.)

9. Diffuse peppermint oil in the room while studying, to improve concentration and accuracy. Inhale peppermint oil while taking a test, to improve recall.

10. Rub 4 drops of peppermint oil on chest and stomach, to relieve travel sickness.

11. Place a drop of peppermint oil on the tongue and inhale into the nose and sinuses to relieve congestion from a cold. It may also be applied over the sinus areas (or to the sinus Vita-Flex points on the feet). Due to its cooling properties, peppermint oil is great for fevers.

12. Add peppermint oil to food as a flavoring and a preservative. For example, add peppermint oil to hot chocolate, brownies, candies, and fudge. Yummy!

13. To deter rats, mice, ants or cockroaches, place two drops of peppermint oil on a cotton ball, and place along the path or point of entry for these pests.

14. Mix one 15 ml bottle of peppermint oil into a 5 gallon can of paint to dispel the fumes.

15. Place a couple of drops of peppermint oil in a cup of hot water, and enjoy in place of coffee.

16. To kill aphids, add 4-5 drops of peppermint oil to 4 ounces of water in a spray bottle, shake well and spray the plants.

17. Place a drop of peppermint oil in a glass of cold water to cool off on a hot day.

18. Rub peppermint oil on joints to relieve arthritis or tendonitis pain.

19. Place a drop of peppermint oil on the tongue to stop bad breath. May also be massaged over the liver, if the bad breath is liver related.

20. Diffuse or inhale peppermint oil to curb the appetite and lessen the impulse to overeat.

21. Remove ticks by applying a drop of peppermint oil on a cotton swab and swabbing the tick. (Wait for it to unhedge its head before removing from your pet.)

22. Mix peppermint oil in a footbath to relieve sore feet. (Keep water agitated while soaking feet.)

23. Put peppermint oil in a spray bottle with water to mist your body to cool it down on a hot day.

24. Place a few drops of peppermint oil in the bottom of the shower before turning on the water. The fragrance is amazing-a great pick-me-up in the morning.

25. Use peppermint oil while driving long distances to keep you awake and alert.

Here are a couple of recipes that I have received from friends using this wonderful oil. Enjoy!

Amazing video's about doTERRA

I tried to up load the video but here is the link... SO worth your 57 min and 40 seconds  :)  If you only watch one, I would recommend Success with doTERRA - Compensation Plan (1 Dec 2010)
http://www.everythingessential.me/Hints/DoterraVideos.html
This video was part one of how to build your doTERRA business, so for you friends out there that are ready to start building your business...hooray!  I am excited to have you on my team.

My doTERRA story.

I LOVE THIS!

This is my story of doTERRA.

I was talking to a friend of mine about my youngest.  He doesn't sleep very well at night, some nights he wake up 6 times a night.. needless to say I was a very sleepy, non productive mom the next day.    She told me about doTERRA,  she encouraged me to try some lavender on his feet at night and see what happened.

I was skeptical,  sounded way to easy.  I went home and searched it online,  read some stories from other moms and decided to try it.   Long story short,  my little guy now sleeps from 8pm-7am!   After the first few nights of good sleep I was shocked, and willing to try other oils.

One night I was talking with my sister that lives out of town,  She had also been introduced to doterra and was excited to share.  She had purchased some oils and sent them to some of our family members to try.   One of our loved ones suffers from arthritis,  she has had pain in her knees for years,  One of the products she tried was Deep Blue,  She now has enough relief from the pain that she has joined a gym and enjoys walking for exercise.  I could list many similar stories just from our family with deep blue.

I also have a sister in law that suffers from migraine headaches,  they are debilitating for her.  With small children she too was hopeful for something to help relieve her headaches.  She has tried" past tense" and had great results.

I have multiple stories with similar results with the samples that either myself or family have tried with doTERRA oils.

There are so many great options with doTERRA, They have everything from hair, skin products to aromatherapy and oils.

We had a great party last weekend, I learned so many great thing.  I have a few family members and myself that will be trying some products and am excited to post the results on here.

One of the samples I will be doing is slim and sassy,  a natural metabolic supplement that help you to  loose weight.  The hardest thing is remembering to take it.... but on the week that I did it  3 times a day for 1 week I lost 2 pounds!  That is exciting... check back for results.
For more info on doTERRA you can visit my doTERRA website www.mydoterra.com/dawnyajpearce

doTERRA also has some amazing business opportunities,  If you are interested in learning more you can email me at dawnya.pearce@gmail.com or leave me a comment and I will contact you.
